Erie Shores Jeeps & 4x4s

Butler, Ohio - December 8, 2002

It was a great turnout for a good cause on a cold December day in mid-Ohio.  A good mix of club regulars and some new faces helped to raise almost $200 for Providence House.

We began with a "weenie" run since we had a few stock vehicles.

Jim was leading all day (that's why he's only in a few pics).  Here he is waiting while everyone checks out why Dan's CJ won't start (last thumbnail pic).  Turns out the control module went bad.  The Rubicon gave him a ride into town and they were back with us by lunch.

After a lunch in the cold, everyone was ready to get warmed up in their Jeeps and get to the more challenging trails (which took us down to 11 Jeeps).

Now we got to the log bridge that we made a month or two earlier.  But, conditions were quite a bit different this day.  Jim makes a few attempts up before giving up to the winch.  Then Mike's Cherokee gives it a go.  After the front tire goes a few feet in the air, the Cherokee also gladly takes a winch.
